As you could have guessed from the domain name, my name is Pieter Pretorius. I stay in Langebaan with my lovely wife, Elmi and her daughter Cathy. We enjoy traveling and being in nature as you can see at some of the trail reports.

Like most of you, I also worked for a boss years ago. I have been working for myself for the past 10 years (since May 2000) and I reached the point where I do not have to work each day to earn my income. I created multiple streams of passive income which let the money come in while I am not there.

People always ask me what I do for a living. Since this is such a long answer I decided to write an eBook in which I explain everything I do to earn a living from the Internet. These systems include Google Adsense, affiliate marketing, fax to email, network marketing, etc. I own various web sites which I use to run Google and affiliate ads on. On most of my web sites I use a combination of Google Adsense and affiliate marketing to generate an income. Both these methods eliminate the need to get in contact with clients, which makes it ideal for somebody who would like to tour the world one day. One thing I find hard to understand is that you can show people what to do, you can give them the recipe and still they will come up with excuses like:

I do not know how (I also did not know how, but had a passion to find out, all software packages have a help file which will show you how. I am a Metallurgical Engineer, not a web designer, I have not attended one web design course, I learned it all via internet tips and software help files, that means that anybody can do it if they really want to)

I do not have time ( I also did not have the time, that is why I worked until 3 in the mornings to make sure that it does not stay like that the rest of my life)

I cannot sell anything (When it comes to the network marketing side, I personally do not like working with people but if you have a strong enough desire you will make it work. If it comes to the Google Adsense and Affiliate marketing, good news, you do not have to sell anything)

It must be scam (Some people are so pessimistic that they see anything that relates to good news as a scam, wake up and get a live)

And so we can continue the list. The point I am trying to make is that your success is determined by your urge to make a success. If you are really desperately wanting to design a lifestyle of your choice, you will make a plan, you will do the not so nice things to do, as long as you reach your goals.

And what if you make a mistake? There are no such things as mistakes. Maybe slightly bad choices, but they are all lessons. Without lessons you will not reach the top. We made a milllion with real estate by end 2006 and lost all of it 6 months later due to bad investment choices. It still hurts thinking about it, but I have learned extremely valuable lessons in the process. I get daily email of people who are begging me to show them a way to make a quick buck. They lost their jobs or are in deep trouble and a seeking for a quick fix. As much as hit hurts to do so I do not have an answer for these people. What I do takes time to build and there ain't any quick fix. Do not become one of them, please do not wait untill it is too late. Start something on the sideline today and make sure that you are earning some kind of passive income by the time you get fired.

During the years I also found that your success is not only determined by the business you get involved in. You need to develop a wealthy mindset before you can become wealthy. You also need to associate with the right type of people. Look around you. You will become like the people you associate with every day. Are they successful, are they what you want to be one day?

Why do you think does most lotto winners loose it all within a year after they won their millions? It is because they had the money, but stil had a poor person's mentality. Same with some of our countries so called "leaders" who line their pockets with the money destined for the people of our country. They might have fat bank balances, but they sure as heel are not wealthy. They of all still have a poor person mentality. There is a huge difference between being rich and wealthy.

There are various ways to create a suitable wealthy mind set:
