30 second Speech by Bryan Dyson (CEO of Coca Cola)

“Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air. You name them – Work, Family, Health, Friends and Spirit and you’re keeping all of these in the Air.

You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back.

But the other four Balls – Family, Health, Friends and Spirit – are made of glass. If you drop one of these; they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged or even shattered. They will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for it.”

WORK EFFICIENTLY DURING OFFICE HOURS AND LEAVE ON TIME. GIVE THE REQUIRED TIME TO YOUR FAMILY, FRIENDS & HAVE PROPER REST.

“I’ve learned that possessions
do not determine your wealth
and that plastic credit cards
are “debtrimental” to your health.”
-Linda Ellis

This is so true. I know many people who are very rich but who are not wealthy. In general people have a whole misconception about what wealth is, it is not only the big bank balance or the Lamborghini in the drive way.

And the credit card part of the quote, also very true, ask me, I am one of those suckers.

It kills you.

If you are still young and you are reading this take this bit of advice;

Happiness doesn’t depend

“Happiness doesn’t depend on what we have, but it does depend on how we feel toward what we have. We can be happy with little and miserable with much.”

Character Test

This quote is so true and I think most of our government top brasses fail the test:

Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power.

Abraham Lincoln

You cannot change the past

“You can’t change the past, but you can ruin the present by worrying about the future.” – Anon

They say that worrying is like paying interest on money you have not borrowed.
So often we live in the past wishing we could change it, or worrying about the future with fear and trepidation.
So we miss the joy of the moment and in fact miss our life in the process.
Living in the moment means being present all day long. Taking time to enjoy things now. The sunsets, the falling leaves in the Autumn, snow capped mountains in the Winter, laughing children in the park. It means taking time in the moment to have fun. Having fun with colleagues, joking around and not being so serious all the time.

What the mind can Concieve and Believe

Napoleon Hill said: “What the mind can conceive and believe, you can achieve.”

We are the result or product of our thought life. We are on the outside what we believe about ourselves on the inside. You will not achieve more than you expect to achieve. E.g. If you think “I’m always struggling financially. Will it ever Read more »

Be Careful what you Say to Others

A group of frogs were traveling through the woods, and two of them fell into a deep pit. All the other frogs gathered around the pit. When they saw how deep the pit was, they told the two frogs that they were as good as dead.

The two frogs ignored the comments and tried to jump up out of the pit with all of their might. The other frogs kept telling them to stop, that they were as good as dead. Finally, one of the frogs took heed to what the other frogs were saying and gave up. He fell down and died. Read more »

The Wealthiest Place in the World

Dr Myles Munroe said that the wealthiest places in the world are not the gold mines of South America or the oil fields of Iraq or Iran. They’re not the diamond mines of South Africa or the banks of the world. The wealthiest place on the planet is just down the road. It is the cemetery. There lie buried, companies that were never started, inventions that were never made, best selling books that were never written and masterpieces that were never painted.

In the cemetery is buried the greatest treasure of untapped potential.

There is a treasure within you that must come out. It is your potential.
Don’t go to the grave with your treasure still within YOU

Live Today to the fullest

“One day at a time – this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone: and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering.”
