How to make money with your blog
Many people ask me “How do you make money with your blog”
The simple answer is; The same way I do on all my other web sites.
The most common way to make money with your blog is to drive quality traffic to your blog and then sell advertising space on your blog.
You do not always have to physically sell the ads space, you can use automated methods to “sell” your ad space on your behalf so that you can focus on delivering quality content which attracts quality traffic.
If you look at this blog you will see that there are text ads at the right and bottom of each page. These ads are Google Adsense ads. Each time somebody clicks one of those ads this blog earns a couple of cents. Google Adsense is one of my favorite ways of making money from my blogs and web sites. It is also my biggest earner. It makes money 24 hours per day 7 days per week without me having to sell anything or recruit anybody. You can register for a free Adsense account at https://www.google.com/adsense/ . You must already have a functional blog or web site before they will activate your account. The next way to make money with your blog is to make use of affiliate programs. With an affiliate program you will be promoting somebody else’s product or service using a unique link and then get rewarded for successful business. What this means is; You sign up for an affiliate program. You choose a product or service to promote on your blog. You get a unique link from the affiliate program to put on your blog. If a visitor click your link the system will track the visitor and when the visitor buys something you will get paid a commission. The commission varies between the different campaigns and companies.

What I like about ClickBank is the big commissions you can earn. With ClickBank you will mostly promote electronic products like eBooks and software. You can typically earn between 50% and 75% per sale.
All you have to do is join ClickBank’s free affiliate program, log into the system, go to the marketplace and look for a product to promote.
In the end the success of your blog will mostly be determined by the amount of visitors to your blog. The more eye balls that look at your blog each month, the more income you will earn.
You might have noticed that I talked about quality content and quality traffic earlier. There are people who use all kind of weird methods to drive traffic to their web sites or blogs. To me this seems like hard work. All they do is to drive visitors to their web site or blog who have little to no interest in what they have to offer.
If you build a blog with quality content you will automatically drive quality traffic to your blog. What I mean with quality traffic is that with quality content you will attract visitors who have a interest in what you have to offer. Your visitors will be such good quality that they will tell others about your blog which will automatically bring you more traffic.
The more quality traffic you get the more money you will make because a quality visitor will remain on your site longer and the probability that he will click on your adsense ad or affiliate banner is bigger than a visitor whom you tricked to visit your web site.
