The truth is, it is.
I am sure by now just about everybody should know about the free fax to email service. This is a service where anybody can register a free 0866 fax number. When people send you a fax you receive the fax as an email attachment in your email inbox.
But how can you make money from it?..
Not everybody can make money from a fax to email service. You need to know the right people to be appointed as an agent.

The person who sends the fax to a 0866 fax number pays a bit more to send the fax than the normal Telkom fee. The difference between the normal fee and the premium rated fee is where we can make our money. It will be very expensive to start your own fax to email service and you will have to get a whole series of 0866 numbers allocated to you so that you can instantly give it to your clients. You wil also need a dedicated server that is online 24 hours per day. So starting your very own service is out of the question for the normal man on street.
We use one of the biggest existing fax to email companies to make our money.
They appointed some resellers who appointed agents who recruits clients who needs a free fax to email number. You can get paid R0.20 per minute for each fax your client receives. If you find a couple of clients who receive lots of faxes like estate agents and bond originators you can quickly be earning a nice little extra income each month.
When you become an agent you get your own web site on a domain you choose. It looks the same as http://www.faxsystem.co.za/ .

I love the idea, but I feel that some recruitment agencies are killing the jobseekers, as they are looking for bread & butter, and are requested after they have applied via email, to resend all the documentation to their 0866 number including certificates.
fax to email services is really beneficial and make the communication easy.
