Junkmail.co.za scams James- 0791109082. Gareth- 0712979814. Andrew- 0728236694. Jeremy- 0731693541. These people will call you or sms you everytime you advertise and then want you to transport the goods, its all a scam and their check will bounce.
I have been trying to find a new job so have been going through the jobs advertised on the net for my area. I found a few that were suitable and applied. Only to receive numerous emails from all different email addresses and “recruitment” companies, requesting me to FAX my CV (after attaching it to my original emails) together with any relevant documents, certificates and a photograph of myself. No human contact details or telephone numbers were given, and it doesn’t matter how many times you send through your CV, nothing ever comes of it, but another email asking for the same things, but from a different email address and “recruitment” company.
I have made a note of some of the email addresses and supposed recruitment companies below, these are the few a still had in my inbox before deleting them, and deciding to report this hog wash!
1. South Recruiters
2. Sprint Personnel Services
3. Y2work Recruiters
4. Recruitment Services (jobnetresponse@gmail.com)
5. Go-Direct Recruitment Services (directjobsresponses@gmail.com)
6. Prime Number Appointments (primeappointments80@gmail.com)
7. South Recruiters (southrecruiters86@gmail.com)
Trudon KK Trading cc
Hi,
I am currently looking for a contracting / freelance job.
I came accross ads placed by Trudon KK Trading cc to do online data processing of applications from home, paying in the region of R300 per application.
I sent an enquiry email through to the contact person and received a mail back saying that the ad is not for a job but a business opportunity and mentioning a R300 one time fee for the business opportunity manual and instructions.
I have not yet proceeded and would like to know :
1. Has anyone registered with Trudon KK Trading cc?
2. What is the work involved?
3. Has anyone actually earned any money from them?
4. Is this a legitimate way to earn a living ?
5. Is this business above board?
The most amazing thing is that these data entry jobs are allowed to advertise on Classified sites but legitimate Internet Marketing sites are not allowed to advertise on them. Where’s the sense in that?
Hi Pieter
This might be slightly off the point and Im not reporting a scam but but would rather like to know how to convince someone of a legit venture when they believe its a scam…As soon as a “work from home” or “work on the internet” is mentioned in most cases the first word that comes to mind is SCAM.I too am a member of BMT amongst others and as I am rather new to these internet ventures, I find it extreemly difficult to convince people of the legitamacy regarding internet/Mlm ventures… I am not directing this at BMT, Thanks to your site it has become rather easy convincing people that BMT is actually a great venture and 100% legit! One of the other ventures I recently joined “make a mill” can be viewed at http://makeamil.co.za/?ref=Marc or it can be followed on facebook at “makeamil.co.za” … the name sounds rather suspecious however the members are making a fare share of money from this venture however its still difficult to get guys to believe that its legit… Are there any SA forums where prospects could be reffered to, to read and share info on new bussinesses ?
Trudon KK Trading
Requires R300 to be paid for info packs on how to start a data entry business.
The lady gave me the banking details and company name after which I googled it and found a report on hello peter, that this is a scam. The lady – Annatjie that replied to me was reluctant on giving info as to where the work will be coming from etc. I could forward you a copy of the email.
http://www.fora.co.za fake/scam address, real address is http://www.fora.org.za
There is a lady with an advert “Baby Hedgehog for Adoption” She is a scammer and has been running this scam for a while now.
She gets people to deposit money into her account after leading them on with stories about couriers, transport etc.
I have been communicating with this lady who calls herself Keyana Cohen email ” ilovepuppies74@hotmail.com I started getting suspicious when i could not get exact courier info from her and she was claiming her courier company did not need import/export permits which have to be issued by law when transporting an animal of this nature. Upon further search on the net i found that other people had been scammed by her with the same story and the same info. The account that she uses for the money to be deposited is R.P. Bester ABSA 9247812166. Absa Bank. and her fax number is 0865380400.
I trust that you will investigate this further.
Regards
Claire
Further info on the same lady – someone else luckily smelled a rat…

I was interested in buying a car.Looking for something really affordable and enquired via the email addresses on the website for 3different cars so I could make my choice if it was still available. Well I did get a response from all 3 enquiries. What caught my attention was that of the 3 completely different responses only the email address and selling price differed..
The basic mail reads like this:
Hello,Sorry for my delay in response, but I’m currently in London ( United Kingdom ) and I have been very busy with my work. Anyway, thank you for your interest in buying the car. The total price for the car is R24,000.00 . The car is registered and located in South Africa . I wanted to keep the car but I left the country for a better job in United Kingdom , so I decided to sell it. The car is in showroom condition, no liens, it was never involved in an accident.
So if you are interested please email me back so i can explain you how the transaction will work.
When I said i would like to see the car before I discuss transactions he claimed that the car was in the possesion of eBay and after I paid the deposit they will deliver the car to me.I will then have 10 days to test drive the car before they release the money to him.. But please note: eBay does not handle any merchandise, and does not hold or release any funds!! This guy goes by a few names as far as I can see namely: Karl Kixmiller, Sune Morgan and Nirvaan Singh.

I found a job offer on the website Jobs RSA. The person named Mandy operates under the company name Job Placements. It was for data capturing and typing. All I had to do was deposit R230 into their banking account and they would send me the training manual. The manual turned out to be step by step instructions on how to scam other people out of their money. They even included the template response letters. According to them placing adds on the internet for work (even if it does not exist) is data capturing. The R230 did not ruin me financially, but shame on them for taking cash from people who really need it. These people should be tracked down and punished. I know it is illegal to send a virus, but damn these criminals deserve it. These are her contact details:
Please fax proof of payment to 08621work4 (086 21 96 754) or e-mail to jobplacements.cv@gmail.com, once received, your manual will be e-mailed to you. If you do not receive your manual within 1 hour after payment is made, please send me an e-mail (jobplacements.cv@gmail.com)
The banking details are as follows:
C Van Tonder
Account number: 62231371361
Branch: 250655
Bank: FNB
Surely the culprit is C Van Tonder. How difficult could it be to trace this person. I mean you need an ID to open a bank account.
Please help me bring this person down.
Regards,
Jackie
This guy is still doing this. I was toying with him just yesterday this is his response:
Hello and thanks for the keen interest on my little Jackey . Attach are the photos of baby Jackey with my wife before her dead and her recent photos hope you will like them. She is very beautiful, sweet ,loving and is well socialized Capuchin Monkey. She is home trained and tamed and a very good eater. She is vet checked and will come with a medical record ( one year health guarantee ). The reason why i am giving her out is because she belonged to my wife who is of late now . So i just want to keep her away because each time i see her,she brings back the memories of my wife and these keep disturbing me all the time and also due to my present working condition. So i now work full time and also due to my research program i will be travailing in and out of town , so that is why i want to give her a good and loving home. We are originally from Denver in the USA but we live and work in Queens Town in the Eastern Cape .Jackey is exactly 4 months 2 weeks old. she is a capuchin monkey.Am give her out for R2500.
Transporting baby Jackey over to in surfers paradise will not be a problem because she has got all her documents that will enable her travel with no problem.
Thanks for advise! It is help me a lot not to sign up for all this scam! But do you know if it is possible to make money from home!I lost my job recently, I would like to work from home, I don not have money to pay for any fees, I’ve been searching for a month but every one just want registration fee!
Hi Krystal, would you mind sending me the office no you have for Monica, I cannot get through on the cell, it just sends her messages.
This is a scam job offer! and I cannot believe that after all the warnings, I got scammed!!!
A company Trudon KK Trading is offering ‘too good to be true’ opportunities for stay at home online data captureres/admin etc. These are illegitimate job offers. They require you to deposit R300 into their bank account in order to receive the ‘training material’.
This is how the SCAM works. You then receive the training material which instructs you to post illegitimate job offers online, and so the cycle continues!
Hi All some tips
Do not take any person serious if they use a google, yahoo etc mail address if its a company they will use a domain name

I would like to correct my email above. DNA is not a scam. They were just slow to respond and I guess may have been shaken by my entry above. I am still affiliated, though not as active as before, for personal reasons. They are definitely not a scam.
Thank you for reporting Hannelie. Monkeys and Parrots are among the most popular things they use for scams on the Internet.
PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE AD BELOW. WE PAID THIS GUY ALMOST R5000.00 AND YET NO MONKEY.
Have you got your money back?
She is not in jail..she is living her life. I called her office and they even lie for her. She no longer takes cell calls. I am so pissed off.

Got hustled by this man Amid Kamar. Apparently selling Blackberries for cheap. He gave me 2 free email addresses that he uses.
Now all of a sudden he is claiming that i am going to get refunded my money by the Royal bank of Scotland, which when you check the email address is also a free account. The way things are looking this seems to be a very professional Scam artist. I have opened a case against him and I see a few others have been caught in the same trap. Please can you contact me to talk about your services that you offer.
Regards Petro
I recently fell for a “Part-time Typing Position/Data Entry Clerk”. It seemed like a good way to earn an extra income in my free time…3 people have already responded to my e-mails regarding these positions. To my horror, after paying a “non-refundable” (luckily only) R200 for the training manual, I found out that this was defenitely some sort of illegitimate pyramid scheme of some sort. After freaking out and doing research I let the guy know that pyramid schemes are a form of fraud and if he doesn’t refund me I will go the the police and open up a case of fraud. The guy has refunded me!!
I mean it’t not a lot of money, but people who are deperately looking for employment might pay their last R200 in desperation! This is defenitely not at all an honorable or honest way to make money.
Be alert and on the look out for the following e-mail adresses:
monty.mzuzuhomebiz@gmail.com
home.typing@live.com
dtec@secretary.net
This is only 3 e-mail adresses of the millions of people out there trying to make money out of you!! I have reported this to the police, but don’t know if anything will come from it!
DO NOT APPLY FOR PART-TIME TYPING/DATA ENTRY CLERK positions!!
Received exact same mail -

I affiliated to this internet scheme – Data Network Affiliates- early this year after a hyped up campaign that you could make money by simply collecting and submitting car registration plates online. I have not made a dime from them and it is impossible to communicate with them. What is worse I have just found out that I cannot even stop my credit card deductions or cancel my membership. Any other detail under my profile can be changed except where money (credit card) is concerned. Have I been scammed?
i was also scammed by this Graham Knights / Sheldon Andrews. this guy according to Bid or Buy has scammed more than 20people so far in less than a month with different payments from R600 to R1650each. I was personally scammed out of R2050.00. i had to pay in the money at Checkers money market and then take proof of payment thru to him in Palm Beach where i would receive my products. after 4hours of driving around and Graham suddenly not answering his calls anymore or replying to sms i had to go home and discover that i was scammed. Please be aware he is claiming to live in Port Edward but advertise his business as in Port Shepstone / Margate. he is blacklisted thanks to me and a few other people opening cases againts him. let stand together and block him in all ways possible.
GOT SCAMMED
Deal Date 11/06/2010
SHOULD OF SEEN THIS COMING MAKING A QUICK DEAL, JUST LUCKY THAT IT WAS ONLY A R600.
Paid the person told me that phone was sent and he gave me a fake tracking number after that contacted
him regarding tracking number and he told me that he will sort it out with the courier service which he said
was the post office speed service after numerous calls to the post office which confirmed is a number that
does not exist. Well After payment the sudden loss of correspondence and then suddenly the cell number
does not exist.
BE WARNED: Guess another valuable lesson learned. Person claims to be Graham Knights with email universal.pc@hotmail.com cell number 0712503920. Just came back from the SAP and opened a fraud case.
Informed the bank earlier today and supplied them with the account the money was paid in and they are also investigating the account and contacted the branch where account was opened.
Just very happy it was only a R600 and not R1000.

Attention: Editor of the Fourways Review
I would like my letter posted in the paper to warn the public of the following scammer that we were victims of fraud by:
WARNING SCAMMER IN THE BUILDING INDUSTRY! BEWARE!
We have recently been scammed with a huge amount of money. Beware of SA Building Materials. Woman’s name is Robyn Schmidt. She has had many companies: Jaycon Building Supplies, Building4Gauteng, Building Matters, Basic Building Supplies and so the list goes on. The names she uses are: Robyn Schmidt, Pam Rennie, Anne Bradford, Natalie Davies, George Estee, Matthew Callagahn. Telephone numbers 0716433590; 0726546266. Email sabuildingsupplies@24.com; sales@sabuildingsupplies.co.za. She operates from the North of JHB, Paulshof, Rivonia, Fourways. She knows the building industry, sounds very proper, English speaking. She requires a deposit from you and then you never hear from her again, and if you do then she lies about her partners kids either dying or been critical in hospital. DO NOT PAY A DEPOSIT FOR ANY BUILDING MATERIAL SO THAT PRICES CAN BE HELD FOR YOU. USE A REPUTIABLE COMPANY AND GOOGLE AND RESEARCH BEFORE MAKING USE OF THEM. http://www.hellopeter.com is a good way to read about this woman. BEWARE!
Are u getting anywhere with this enquiry. I want my money
It was called Point Panorama on safarinow.
I am so irritated with the lies.
Irmgardt,
Am in the process of dealing with these people. Should I stop? I have paid a deposit already.
We have also been scammed by this person from “PE”. We reported him to the police giving all details possible and also asked carte blance and 3rd degree to warn the public of pet travel international. also people should visit helopeter.com to see the complaints on the scams of pet travel international. a FAKE uk company. website not ligit.

I received a phone call on my mtn cellphone from somebody claiming to be from Virgin Mobile, who informed me that my no. was 1 of 20 chosen from the database to receive a Nokia cellphone, plus 1000 free airtime, with a first payment only in July. I really need a cellphone (mine is old) she asked me my address for delivery purposes, name, home tel no etc. she asked me where I banked, which I informed her of, and then she proceeded to ask me for my bank details. I asked her how I could verify that she really was from Virgin Mobile, to which she handed me over to a “supervisor” who informed me that they have to ask for account numbers to verify that I am the person concerned. I refused to give my account no. and told them I would rather forfeit the “prize” than give out my banking details. He promptly said goodbye and put down the phone. I decided to phone Virgin Mobile to ask them if they are offering such a promotion, they are very evasive as they offer countless promotions, and I was told if I want a contract that is the way it works, I have to give my account details. The more I said I did not ask for this contract I supposedly “won” it, the more idiotic this person became. I am sure this is a scam, but unfortunately Virgin are not concerned about “no goods” using their name. We have been warned over and over again not to give bank details over the phone, I do not believe any reputable company will expect that from the public.
We were also scammed by her. Our attorney is Anneke van Eck at 018 297 3841. Where on safarinow did you find her?
WOW!!! I am not the only one that was conned by this woman. Lies, Lies and more Lies. I cannot believe this. Is there anyway to stop her and get our money back. For me, that was alot of money. I have reported this to safarinow.com and I dont know if anyone will assist.
hi there. i have been looking for a monkey and i came across this monkey which was very cheap, i phoned the guy and he says he says in PE but the advert says pretoria. when i emailed him he soundd very nice and liget but after reading your msg i got a bit sceptical and started asking more questions. the name on hisbank detail are different to the names he gave me. i then said to him can my dad come and look at the mokey cause he is on a business trip in pe, he has now not replied so i think this guys is a coward and a liar and he should be stopped with what he is doing. people have to keep there eyes open
Scam artist report:

Names she goes by: Monica Visser/ Monica Van Breda, Mia.
Motswala Trading is one of her “business” names she uses.

Tel numbers: 0147841269, 0741938895, 0729499833, 0795664484.
Her bank account that I put the money into:
G Strydom, Absa Bank
Acc no: 9052407538
When I asked for a refund, she said she put the money back into my account and even sent me a confirmation of payment sms that looked legitimate. (I even went to absa to ask if it’s the real thing and they thought it was).
This is the number she sends the confirmation sms from: +27840001200. Think it may be her internet modem.
Yes Pieter this is an “age old theory” commonly known as the martingale system. There are variations in which people have adopted what is called a sleeper system. This system simply waits for a certain part of the table or a certain type of bet like red/black, odds/evens, dozens, coloumns etc. not to appear and then people begin to bet using the martingale system which involves progressive betting(increasing your bet after a loss). Online Casino’s are very aware that these systems do not work, if they did there wouldn’t be such thing as online casino’s because everyone will be winning, and the casino’s will go bankrupt.
There has been alot of debate on whether “free play” and “real money play” is the same, but no conclusive answer exists. one thing I can say from experience is that the casino software is designed to negate all “martingale” and “sleeper” systems. It comes down to responsible gambling, which includes proper money management, discipline, time management. DON’T EVER SPEND MONEY YOU DO NOT HAVE.
It seens that South Africa is being targeted by scammers. Maybe we are too trusting or something, or maybe we are just naieve. Some of the sales pitches that these people offer are extremely alluring, but one should always take into account that there is no such thing as a “free lunch” you will pay some how or the other. The only thing that pays is HARD WORK. A warning bell should always trigger in one’s mind when someone makes an offering that seems to good to be true. These “opportunities” are almost always deceptive in some way or the other.
Anyway, great site Pieter!
Scam selling monkeys they are way to cheap i told him i lived in jhb and he said he lived in pe and i would deposit the money and they would send the monkey to me. His email address is davidfuh305@gmail.com (0835278286)
Emailed him off another email adress asking about a different monkey and that i lived in Port elizabeth his response was he lived in Pretoria. Hope this helps somebody – google his email address and number and you get all different things he does.
Thanx for posting it Richard, I agree with you that system does not work. I think the biggest problem is online casinos. The theory works when you play a dummy account but the moment you switch to a live account you can prove this age old theory wrong.
Hi, there is currently an unscrupulous person promoting a roulette system using google adwords. This person is targeting people searching for information on google using the “be motivated today” keyword. This guy offers the system for free and claims to have won R330 000 per annum using this system. It might look legit to the untrained eye because the system is been offered for “free,” but I am quite knowledgeable on online roulette systems, and I can tell you that this system does not work. In fact 99% of roulette systems do not work. So what is the scam? Basically this guy asks you to use this sysem at certain casino’s, but what he doesn’t tell you is that he is affiliated to these casino’s and he makes between 20-40% on your losses. The scam is the system doesn’t work and when you lose this person makes a commission paid to him by the casino’s that he promotes. The website address that this guy uses is www. saonlineprofits. com
Please don’t fall for this system. You will lose your money – GUARANTEED!
I have been scammed by these people but they used the name cellphone center limited but use the same adres. And they use a fake courier that want extra money for supposed customs.
pretty sure this is a scam.
I refused to pay the full amount but I paid a deposit.
won’t know till tomorrow
I found this ad on CapeAds for brand new 17″ Macbook Pros. Is this possible? Besides that, the replier said the price is now reduced to R9 799. I was also told that they sell these notebooks from their warehouse to Apple resellers.
I also sent a mail to their UK address on the website and got a reply that the address is legit. I don’t know if I can trust this?

Hi
“work from home” can mean many things. Even if you have a doggy parlor at home you are working from home. So I guess there is nothing wrong with “work from home” opportunities.
There is a problem however with some Internet based businesses which turns out to be scams. Read http://www.capeargus.co.za/index.php?fArticleId=3823715
Some of the “opportunities” that are mostly labelled as scams are the so called “data entry jobs”. I think the biggest problem government has with these is the fact that people are mislead by the ads. The “data entry” people sell a manual where they teach you to post ads in the job section telling people you need “data entry clerks” which will earn X amount. Once the people apply and pay theur fee they realise that they will not be earning a “salary” but that they will have to resell the same manual and determine their own success.
Hi,
How do we know that “work-from-home” operations are false/scams? I thought a scam refers to a offer which I never delivered on. I am aware that there are scam artists in the industry however- surely this does not refer to all “work-from-home” businesses. In most instances you pay for a manual to start your online typing business. You pay your fee, get the manual and start the business – where is the scam? Please respond…..
Good Day All

Hi I came across from a guy that says his from east londen and gives away free english bulldogs puppies. I think he uses a transport companies logo for transport of the puppies. And uses 3 different cellphone number’s. His name on the email is mark m. And didn’t want to give me his name or contact number.

Thank you very much for replying to my ad.I will like to start by
making you understand that this puppies (male and female) is for
adoption and will love to be catered for. They are so cute and lovely
and will bring joy to any family. They are registered, potty trained
and well socialized.Has all their shots up to date and about 14 weeks
of age.they got well wrinkled body with white skin.
I am currently relocated in Cameroon from Western cape two weeks ago
and a pet lover, these puppies where given to me as a gift from a priest in Adelaide
but due to the bad climate here my babies are not conformable this explains why i am giving them out for free because there is no body to take good care of
Tina and Nina.So i am willing
to give them out to some one who can offer to take good care of them
and be able to pay for their shipping papers which is $300 for one and
$500 for both .Don’t hesitate to ask any question.
Regards here are some pictures i hope you do like them
Thanks waiting
Hi again.
I came across another ad on gumtree and because I am in search of a way to earn extra cash, i would really like to know if it is a scam. Does anyone know of legit ways to earn extra money online?
This is the as I came across:
>>>She asks for an upfront payment of R200.
Gerry, first of all if it says Data Entry the first alarm must go off. Secondly if it is hosted on a free hosting service like mydomain.webs.com I would most definitely not give the person money no matter how goos his offer sounds.
So this is a big NO-NO
The ad is as follows:

Hi, i came accross this ad on gumtree and many other job sites. the website seems convincing but they do ask for an upfront payment before you can start! i am lloking for an honest way to earn extra income…is there any way you can check this out for me??? had anyone had experiences (good/bad) with this website
Hi. I just came across this opportunity now on gumtree. I was considering until I read your post. She actually sent me an example of the kind of typing assignments I would need to do. What happened to you? Did you pay the money and then never hear from her again, or was it just a misleading opportunity to make money off people by passing on instructions on how and where to repost the same stuff and advertise to conn other people into the same bull. Please explain, and plesae help, as I need money desperately, but I do not have money to waste on scams.
