AdSense or AdDynamo?
I see many South African web sites switched to Addynamo.
AdDynamo is a Pay per Click engine, similar to Google Adsense and Adwords. What I like about AdDynamo is that they have the advertising and publishing side on the same site, not like Google where it is two different sites with two different names.
I prefer to support local business where I can and I think Google is operating their business in a mafia way, so I decided to give it a try.
At first the AdDynamo ads do take some time before they serve the correct ads on your site. For a rather long time all you see is an AdDynamo ad.
Once the ads are displayed it works very while and there are no problems with implementing the script.
On the sites I tested I received a eCPM of between R3 and R7 depending on the web site.
This is still lower than my Adsense income but it is a good start for a new venture. I am sure as more businesses advertise on this service the more relevant the ads will become and the higher the CPM.
In my opinion Adsense remains the most successful ad network because the ads they serve are mostly relevant to the page.
AdDynamo is a good alternative for Adsense but at this stage the income (mine anyway) is not better than Adsense yet. If your Adsense account has been suspended for some reason (which Mafia Google often do at the moment) then AdDynamo is the best to go for.
