About two years ago met Joan Masterson for coffee at Tygervalley. I think we “know” each other for more than 6 years now. You know, the way Internet people “know” each other. When we met in Tygervalley it was the first time we saw each other in real life after communicating online for 3 or 4 years.
Anyway, we were chatting about making money and earning online. At some stage I told here that I found that most people are just looking for something where they can do something online and get paid for it and if you can figure a way to give people a real job online and pay them for it you will be very busy. Most people do not want to do work online and only get paid commission for it.

I see so many people who are searching for an easy way to make money on the Internet and I also see so many people get burned in the process that I decided to write this post.
Thousands of people flog to the Internet in desperate help looking for a way to earn money on the Internet.
Mistake 1:
The very first mistake they make is: They waited too long. They waited until it is too late and now they are looking for a quick fix. Now get this early in your search and remember it, there ain’t any quick fixes on the Internet.
Because you are desperate and in a panic state you are vulnerable to the sharks out there who are making a living out of squeezing your last couple of bread money out of you. These people are heartless.
Mistake 2:
Stop looking for “Type from home”, “Data Entry“, “Data Processing”, “David Johnston’s Millionaire’s List”, “online surveys”, “make money from reading emails”, “make money click on links or visiting web sites” type of things.

There are many ways to make money on the Internet. Some are scams, some are bad and some are real good opportunities.
I do find that a lot of people prefer to look for a “job” they can do online like “data entry” or “online surveys”. I think this is because people are still holding on the the stability of the only thing they know, their job.
The sad fact is that most “data entry” ventures are SCAMS. What makes this so sad is that is mostly people who desperately need money who are conned out of their last couple of rands or dollars.
