I changed my view on Survey Basket. I left my original article below but lately I think that SurveyBasket sucks. It seems as if they lost interest in their concept. I made good money in the beginning but up to date only received 5 surveys to complete. Currently this is not a good option anymore. It started off very well, but it seems as if it is dying a slow death

On 19 Feb 2010 I joined SurveyBasket and paid R75.00 to get my account activated. On 26 March 2010 the first payment of R135.00 reflected in my account.

OK, I know, making R60 profit is not a big deal but I am trying to illustrate a point here.

What have you been doing the past 5 weeks which gave you 80% return on your investment?

When I joined SurveyBasket it was purely to evaluate them to see if they will be sending me surveys and if they will be paying. You can read all about it in the initial post which you can find by clicking here

Because it was an evaluation only I did not promote it via email. I deliberately only posted this one post on my blog about it. The initial post about SurveyBasket earned me 14 referrals of which 4 upgraded their accounts. I also received 3 surveys during the same time. That earned me a great big total of R135.00 which was paid via EFT into my bank account.

I spent about 5 minutes registering with SurveyBasket, 10 minutes to write the post on my blog and in total about 10 minutes completing the 3 surveys they sent me.Thus I spent 15 minutes to setup a “system” which will be earning me an income for many years to come (as long as SurveyBasket continue their business)

From above you can see that:

1. SurveyBasket does send you surveys to complete
2. SurveyBasket does pay
3. Having your own web site (with traffic) does work

I know that I could have made much more money if I promoted it properly, but that was not the purpose of the initial exercise .

Making money from online surveys is one of the most searched for topics on the Internet.

The sad fact is that your chance of making money from online surveys are close to zero, especially if you stay in a non-USA country.

Most online survey companies on the internet mostly have surveys for Americans only

BUT there is a South African online survey company who claims that you will get paid for completing surveys online.
