What the mind can Concieve and Believe
Napoleon Hill said: “What the mind can conceive and believe, you can achieve.”
We are the result or product of our thought life. We are on the outside what we believe about ourselves on the inside. You will not achieve more than you expect to achieve. E.g. If you think “I’m always struggling financially. Will it ever change?” the answer is “no” because you BELIEVE that you are always struggling. In actual fact, you are ‘today’ what you believed about yourself ‘yesterday’ and ‘tomorrow’ you will be what you believe about yourself ‘today’.
Things change on the outside only once the change has happened on the inside. It will never change on the outside for you, in your marriage, career, with your children or with your friends until the change in beliefs has taken place. That’s not the end (you have to apply some other basics too). But it’s the start. You have to start by changing your beliefs if you want the change on the outside.
Henry Ford said: “Think you can, or think you can’t. Either way you will be right.”
Affirmations are a powerful mechanism we use to change our beliefs. And that changes our reality.
