Game drives at Marakele National Park in South Africa

This is where the confusion started. Early the next morning some of us wanted to go on a game drive. Other were looking for the 4x4 trails and some were concerned that they might land on a 4x4 trail while on a game drive.

On this side of the park it is ideal for game drives. There are a lot to see. Rhino, Koedoe, Zebra, Rooibok and many more. There is only one little road, clearly marked "4x4 only" which is not suitable for 4x2 vehicles. The rest of this part of the camp you will easily do with a normal vehicle.

If you did not go for the 4x4 trail and you enjoy game viewing, stay on this side of the park, you will love it. Below is one of the water holes on route.
